Just so you know, it's not unusual for there to be a long delay between the time you subscribe to a magazine and when you receive your first issue. I also don't think it's unusual for an issue to be on news stands before you get it at home. But it's probably not a bad idea to look into it.

I subscribed for seventeen magazine too and I didn't even get the full amount of issues that I paid for. My advice is that if you are not happy with the service call the company and report your story. Or you could just stick to buying them separately. There are numbers to reach the company in the magazine its self. Try looking in the back or personally e- mail Atoosa. She is the editor and has a web page at myspace.com.

It takes about a month to actually get the subscription,
The customer service number is on all magazines and website.
Maybe the other one got "lost " or stolen or delivered to the wrong address.
It happens!
Go to Seventeen.com and check out the Subscriber Services at the very bottom of the page.
But you should check the magazine for the 800 number,
Get the snail mail address for the magazine and tell them your concern. Magazines will often credit you for such a complaint. If you want to use phone or email, just google it and see what you find.
